Dear Reader;
I want to begin today by thanking those of you who have stayed with me throughout my Kickstarter campaign, putting up with the many emails and updates while offering the most kind and generous support. Whether or not you chose to back the campaign, I so appreciate your patience with me, as I walk this extraordinary unfolding in my life.
I was told by an experienced Kickstarter coach that many creators shut down with exhaustion or illness after a campaign, and indeed I have needed quiet time to rebalance. At the same time, as all the pieces start to fall into place, one realizes that now the real work begins!
I am completing a final review of the manuscript. Next week I hand it over to Amanda Johnson of Awaken Village Press, the editor of my choice. Her employ was made possible by the over-funding our original goal.
As for the card deck, I finally disciplined myself to face the difficult task of editing the 123 cards down to 108. As I have been using the prototype deck for months, it was sooo hard to part with any cards, much less 15, but I did it, with the help of a very patient chihuahua. The deck design is also coming along beautifully. They are going to be gorgeous cards.
I also want to share that I have enabled a new feature of Kickstarter called Late Pledges. This means that those who missed the campaign may still contribute and receive a reward. Please do continue to spread the word, and refer anyone who is interested to www.dearhumanchild.com. Late Pledges will be available only until we are close to our shipping dates.
Interestingly, I had held the image of an 11,111 funding amount in my mind, and we are now only $195 short of that vision, thanks to some late pledges! So if you know anyone who thinks they have missed the boat, please send them our way. Of course if you are a backer, you are also able to upgrade your pledge at any time. If you wish to do so and have any tech issues, just let me know and we will sort it out.Â

My dear friend AumRak Sapper will be visiting Toronto and joining me for a two part event: COMMUNITY SACRED FIRE AND PRIVATE SALON.
Friday night is a Sacred Fire in Orchard Park, open to community and friends by donation.
Saturday afternoon, 1 - 5 pm Eastern, is a private Salon in my home with limited spaces. AumRak will offer Cacao ceremony, I will offer personal Dear Human Child card readings, and we will all share in wonderful conversation. $197 CAD + HST.
As a time-keeper of the Sacred Mayan Calendar, an initiated Mayan priestess and a High Priestess of Melchisedek, AumRak serves the planet and humanity as an instrument in service of the living God/Goddess - to harmonize the energies of the four directions.
AumRak practices the sacred ceremonies in her daily practice and with other shamans, and has been called to work with other healers to activate energy vortexes. She has facilitated many ceremonies, workshops, marriage ceremonies and sacred events.
