Dear Reader;
A few nights ago, on the eve of the new moon, I awoke from a beautiful dream. I was standing in front of my childhood home when, out of nowhere, the most beautiful owl descended, preparing to land on my arm. As it reached for me, at first I felt fear, seeing the large talons and extraordinary wingspan. But when she touched me, there was no pain, just absolute tenderness and care.
I stood motionless, in awe as she stretched and folded her magnificent wings, and then, like a tired child, bowed her head and nuzzled under my neck in a full embrace. It was a gesture of both giving and receiving, asking and offering. We melted into one another, bathed in healing warmth.
Every dream brings a message, a question, an expression, but some seem as alive as if we were traversing alternate worlds, living them as surely as when we wake to an earthly day. The clarity, the blessing of this exchange, sits with me still. I feel touched in a way that cannot be undone.
Sometimes our guides appear in mysterious forms, reminding us that unconditional love is always near. Sometimes poetry speaks through images, revealing the unstoppable beauty of life despite the shadows in our world.
The next day, I drew an image from my dream, sketching in the company of dear friends with whom I often meet to share some gentle hours of creation. And then, the next day, I offered my image to the artistry of modern technology, to animate what had been a simple rendering of my pencils upon the page. I was amazed to see the very motions of my dream recreated before my eyes, the grace of a blessing received from the etheric realms directly into my thirsty heart, my wondering mind.
May the embrace of God’s creatures also come to you in the days and nights ahead, whispering into your thoughts, your visions, your rememberings, and your rebirths. Winged wisdom is never far when the realm of angels stands forever ready to invite us home.
much love, Adi
